Run by three generations of the Pendergast family, Cape Cod Package Store has served Centerville, on Cape Cod, for more than 85 years. Its Wine Room offers complimentary tastings, with eight wines open every day.
Those wines are poured from an Enomatic dispenser set into the Wine Room’s wood shelving. Each bottle is preserved under inert gas, so customers can taste a fresh glass before they buy.
The system installed at Cape Cod Package Store is built on Enomatic’s modular Unica technology, designed for precise preservation, portion control and connected service.
Pour + preserve — each bottle is preserved separately under food-grade nitrogen (E941) or argon (E938), with up to 3 configurable servings per bottle.
Control + connect — color touchscreen, RFID reader and LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity for real-time service monitoring.
Build + customize — stainless steel, colored or glass finishes, with customization options on request.
