A self-serve tasting island in the middle of the store.
Winestore is a North Carolina wine retailer founded in 2005, with a mission to make wine fun, educational and non-intimidating. At its Lake Blakeney store in Charlotte, Enomatic dispensers sit on a freestanding tasting island in the middle of the sales floor.
Customers choose their pour on the touchscreen. Each bottle is preserved under inert gas, so a wide range of wines stays fresh and ready to taste.
The system installed at Winestore Lake Blakeney is built on Enomatic’s modular Unica technology, designed for precise preservation, portion control and connected service.
Pour + preserve — each bottle is preserved separately under food-grade nitrogen (E941) or argon (E938), with up to 3 configurable servings per bottle.
Control + connect — color touchscreen, RFID reader and LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity for real-time service monitoring.
Build + customize — stainless steel, colored or glass finishes, with customization options on request.
