TASTE Wine Bar & Market
A self-serve wine wall in the heart of Atlanta's Upper Westside
Over 48 wines from around the world, poured by the glass, entirely at your own pace.
A self-serve wine wall built for exploring, one pour at a time
At TASTE Wine Bar & Market, the self-serve wine bar and gourmet market at The Works on Atlanta’s Upper Westside, founder Ben Ferris – a winemaker and sommelier with experience in Australia and Napa Valley – built the concept around a wall of Enomatic dispensers where guests pour their own wine, at their own pace.
Over 48 wines from around the world are on tap, available in 1.5, 3, or 6-ounce pours, or by the glass, carafe, or bottle, with each bottle preserved under nitrogen vacuum technology for up to 60 days, so every glass tastes as fresh as the first.
Installed as the centerpiece of the tasting room, the wine wall lets guests explore freely, comparing a Barolo to a Cabernet or a coastal white to a Provencal rose, before deciding on a bottle to bring home from the adjoining market, stocked with more than 100 wines and a curated selection of cheeses and charcuterie.
For the TASTE team, the self-serve wall means no opened bottle goes to waste and no server is tied up pouring tastes one at a time. For guests, it means the freedom to try before they commit and walk out with a bottle they have actually tasted first – the kind of hands-on discovery that has made the Upper Westside location a neighborhood favorite since opening at The Works.
