The Wine Room
26 self-serve Enomatic wine stations inside a 1925 Prohibition-era building on Atlantic Avenue
180+ wines on tap, three pour sizes, and a world-record-holding wall built for discovery.
A Prohibition-era building turned
record-holding wine destination
The building at 411 E Atlantic Avenue dates back to 1925, when it operated as the Arcade Tap Room during Prohibition and later hosted guests including Franklin D. Roosevelt and Gary Cooper. The Wine Room brand itself was founded in 2006 in Winter Park, Florida by Bruce Simberg, and this Delray Beach location opened its doors in 2019, carrying that history into a new chapter.
The centerpiece is a wall of 26 self-serve wine stations pouring more than 180 wines in three pour sizes, recognized at one point as a world record holder for wines available on tap. The kitchen, led by an award-winning chef, pairs the wine wall with dishes such as oysters, steak tartare, tomahawk chops, and charred octopus, alongside a cheese program built around Max McCalman’s selections. Guests looking for something after dinner can slip into Radcliffe’s, the venue’s hidden speakeasy cocktail bar.
