A sommelier-curated wine wall for West Georgia's place to wine down
Set in a restored 1881 brick building on Adamson Square, in the heart of downtown Carrollton, Georgia, 1881 Wine brings an elegant, lounge-style wine bar to West Georgia, billing itself as “West Georgia’s Place to Wine Down.”
At the center of the room is a self-serve wine wall stocked with 72 bottles from around the world, hand-picked by an expert sommelier. Guests tap a card to pour their own glass, exploring styles and regions entirely at their own pace, with the curated lineup rotating regularly to reward repeat visits.
The wine list is paired with a food menu built for grazing and sharing: gourmet pizza, tapas, and elegant desserts, plus an “Off the Wall” selection of beers, mocktails, and non-alcoholic options for guests who aren’t drinking wine.
Beyond the pour, 1881 Wine hosts live music every Thursday and offers a VIP Wine Club for members who want first access to new arrivals, along with bottles to take home.
Technical Features
The wine wall at 1881 Wine is built on Enomatic self-serve dispensing technology, designed for precise preservation, portion control and guest-facing service.
Pour + preserve – each bottle is individually preserved under food-grade nitrogen (E941) or argon (E938), with up to 3 configurable pour sizes per bottle – here set to 1.5, 3, and 6-ounce tastes.
Chill + display – adjustable temperature zones, fast loading and full bottle visibility across the wall of 72 wines.
Control + connect – 7-inch color touchscreen and RFID reader, so guests tap a prepaid card to pour their own tastes, with LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity for real-time service tracking.
Build + customize – stainless steel, colored or glazed finishes, with customization options available on request.
